Just like the great Billy Sheehan once said: “Music is always changing and the changes are unpredictable.” That is true for music as an art form, for the marketplace that asks for it, as well as for the business that seeks to monetise any music product.

In our video series, we talk to artists, producers, working musicians, educators, and record executives from all genres and corners of the world, about the driving forces that constitute our contemporary music universe. We want to find how the breeding grounds of music have changed and what this means for the creatives all around the world today.

Join us, when we – two creative researchers, but mainly music lovers – embark on a quest to find a common denominator for what we like to call ‘the BAM of Music’: Business, Artists, and the Marketplace. We talk to heroes to make sense of the alleged zero – the music business.
